Thanked: 4trusted sites?
If I missed this on the home page somewhere I apologize, but is there a list of "trusted" websites to buy from? I know whipped dog and straight razor designs. Are there. Few others? Or at least sites to absoutely avoid?

Welcome to SRP! I will easily recommend SRD and just about anything in the SRP classifieds as everyone here has a reputation to uphold, you may also want to check out the "razors to avoid" list. I believe that is under the Library heading
on the tool bar at the top of the page. If you need anything just shout out, we pride ourselves on being here to help.It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Thanked: 0Would echo nun2sharps's sentiments, vendors on SRP have alot to lose by fobbing off crap merchandise. Ebay for me was too hit and miss and it is so disappointing to wait for the postman to arrive only to find the razor that looked too good to be true was. You wouldn't buy cakes from a skinny chef so don't trust a vendor who doesn't shave with a blade!

Pretty much anyone who advertises on this site is a tried and true vendor. You can also look in the Vendor area of the classifieds, good work by good people there.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Hi - one great thing about the Classifieds here, I've purchased two blades from the Classifieds, never had a problem, superb condition at a great price, and of course, if you ever have any problem, the seller is right here to help you out.
If you're looking at that W&B 6/8, it's a great looking razor, in superb shape, and for a W&B, it's at a more than a reasonable price - you wouldn't go wrong with that blade.
Cheers!

Ditto what everyone's saying here. I've used SRP and the two vendors you mentioned along with Glen's gemstarcustoms.com and a host of others for soaps/creams...
Are you looking for anything in particular?
Kind Regards,
