Question Simpson commodore X2 from royal shave

So i just ordered a Simpson commodore and some MWF from Royal shave and i have a few questions.

This is what i picked up Simpson Commodore X2 Best Badger Shaving Brush | RoyalShave
    $64.40 and free shipping conus.
Has anyone ordered from them are they trustworthy site?

I been using a cheap amazon escali badger brush that was about 13.00. What kind of improvement should i notice with this new brush?
I am still new to wet shaving and learning from everyone here. I usually bowl lather and been using either Proraso green or VDH soap with my DE. I decided to up the game and am awaiting my Straight and strop kit from Whipped Dog.
I also figured i get some MWF with it. or should i try tabac? im up to trying face lathering. opinions are welcome.
i do know that MY MMV.. lol thanks in advance

I have a Simpson Commodore X3 I obtained from royal shave (I think... ). Fine brush, softens nicely after a soak, not a shedder at all. No complaints with royalshave as I can recall either.

Yes they are a good business to deal with. Strictly online sales but not far from me. Get on the mailing list and they send you deals once in awhile.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
