    i wish to wrap some bamboo around a Japanese style razor ,, is there a process to it treating it after to seal ?
    i find a need ill find a way

    Leave the baboons alone! haha On a serious note, I would think cutting the bamboo in thin strips and soaking it in water would make it pliable for wrapping. Not sure how to treat it afterwords, maybe dry it and seal with a polyurethane or something? I have never done this, so just don't listen to me, lol.

    I imagine the old ones were coated with shellac to seal them.

    thats about what im thinking cut thin strips epoxy on then shellac ore something then sand with fine paper so its not slick im open to all ideas & thanks guy,s for the reply,s
