Thanked: 0Maybe my new razor wont be honed?
I posted yesterday about my gf buying me a straight. well it appears she has got me a dovo, but im not ultimatley convinced its be fully honed.
I have not been given it yet so dont fully know, and even when i do get it how will i be able to tell??
If this is the case is there anyone in the UK I could send it to??
thanks again, im sure i will be shaving soon.

Yea that would be great if you could
Also would i be wise to wait for it to be fully honed?
or could i sneak a little shave in before?

Have it fully honed if you don't feel like adding any new scars. If you don't feel like waiting, postage to the states to have it honed by Joe or Lynn is cheap.

And you better bring him over here. Always on a lookout for new talent.

I'd offer to do it for but I'd really like to get a few more razors honed before I'm confident enough to start doing them for other people. I can get pretty good results now but I need to check it's not just blind luck!
In the meantime, how about Alex in the Netherlands? I hear he's pretty good.
