Thanked: 2Lather That Stays Solid Longest
I have been using TOBS for several weeks now. Because I take my time shaving, I noticed that my lather dries up and starts detaching from my face and floating in air.
I am wondering if Geo Trumper creams produce lathers that are "more rich" and stays on your face longer.
Has anyone tried both TOBS and Trumper and can give some advice regarding this?

Quite the regular thing for beginning shavers to have to re-lather during any pass. This will become less of a problem as proficiency develops.

Thanked: 1184It may be your lather mixing needs more water ? Just lather what you can shave off before adding more. Half or quarter at a time. I know the cream is a treat but you may want to use a puck soap until your shave time is quicker.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 23I have tried both TOBS and Geo. Trumper and have found the Trumper to make a little bit richer lather. Of course it costs a little more.

The one that "stays solid the longest" is the one that you prepared the best. TOBS is good soap so you'd better blame it on that guy you see in the mirror.
