Talking It's a pleasure to meet you all!

    Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie that would like to get started with straight razors, I thought this place would be the best place to ask my questions.
I'm a 24 yo guy who's getting sick of buying expensive cartridges. I also have a very sensitive skin, and the razor burn and irritation is taking a toll.

I guess we'll get to know each other better throughout my learning journey into straight razors.
    Have a great day!

Welcome, this place has tons of material and advise to get you going.

Yes, razor cartridges like printer ink cartridges are a horrible money grab. You might try out a double edge as a stepping stone to the straight. You might even find it to be what you're looking for. Good luck, have fun!

Welcome to SRP. If you update your personal details to include your location, you will get to meet people in your local area, as I did, who will be more than willing to help you and make new friends.

+1 Agree with above. Your rate of learning will increase dramatically if yo can get some one on one time with someone local to you!
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
