Greetings all
Hi. My name is Mike. I stumbled here after following Youtube videos about making knives and razors.
The irony runs thick with my interests as my dad was a barber for nearly 50 years. He used to give straight razor shaves and it always seemed intimidating--it still does
Now, I am nearing fire dept retirement and want to pursue knifemaking and this seems like a great skill set to learn.

Welcome aboard Mike. I remember the feeling of a fresh SR shave by my Barber growing up, around the ears and neck, and later my face when I came of age to shave.
