I went back and re-read my post and probably should have
worded it a little differently.

I actually load up my brush on the soap puck, THEN move
directly to my face for lather building.

As mentioned by JoshEarl, by loading up the soap (and sometimes
adding cream to the "breech"), this will start out a bit DRY... I
just keep scrubbing away over entire face like that, and then, slowely
add HOT water to just the tips of the brush until I get it like I like it.

Dip in HOT water, brush...repeat as long as necessary.

Two to three minutes and hot the whole time. I just stand the brush
up while shaving, and dip again before second/third passes, and it
works well. I just hate cleaning up something if I I don't need to.

Instead of using a mug to store my soap (Williams or Surry), I use one
of those little plastic "salsa" containers from Mexican take-out...perfect
size, stackable, and "FREE".
