Default Colorado Shaving Supplies needed :)

I know there is a decent amount of fellow SR users on here that are located in Colorful Colorado. So my question for you gentlemen is... Are there any Shaving dedicated shops around town that you guys know of? I know there are the mall shops out there like: Bath and Body CO Bigelow, Art of Shaving, L'occitane, and Crabtree Evelyn but are there any shops that carry a variety of shaving accessory options out there in the 303?

Thanks for any feedback you guys have

    Sam

I don't know about specifically in Co but I do know that you've listed just about every major "brick and mortar" store that carries any supplies of men's shaving supplies. I do know that some Dillard's stores carry AoS stuff but that's brushes, creams, oils, and as balms. Good luck

Well, I see your not a newbie, so I'll just share with you my experience. hope it helps.

I'd add Walmart as well. I got my first shave oil, VDH soap, styptic stick and a couple other things.

I cobbled together what I needed on a budget at first. The main stuff: razor, strop, brush. I hit up all the vouched for vendors, Larry atwhipped dog, glen over at gemstarcustome, Lynn over at SRD. I was able to come away with a very workable "get me off the ground" kit.

Granted I had to sit and wait a whole few days to the main stuff, but it allowed me to practice making lather(side note-I'd originally ordered some Musgo soap online that I couldn't make lather worth spit with. Leave to Walmart to come through with the Van Der Hagen Deluxe)

    Cheers, S

Yep plenty of things can be found at all those places. I was simply referring to the OP's question about dedicated shave stores.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'm just looking for that shave shop Mecca that carries everything hahaha. I stumbled across a place in Texas once that was like a dream come true. They had walls and walls of soaps, creams, razors, DE's, strops, really everything a SR enthusiast could want. It was like heaven on earth. I just like to look at things and see how they smell, feel, look etc... Before I buy them ya know what I mean?

On another note, I was dragged into an Ulta Beauty Store with the gf today... and stumbled across quite a wide array of shaving creams, balms, aftershaves, and pre shaves. Noowwww... if these products are any good remains to be seen, but that is also another option out there.

Littleton guy here. I started a "Group" for Denver locals. Mile High Strop & Go - Straight Razor Place Forum

Please visit and check out the Mile-High-Madness meet and greet that's being put together by some of the seasoned vets on SRP!

I'm a newbie at all this and really want to connect with some local SRP members to learn this new hobby I've fallen for!

    Cheers!
