Thanked: 0It's arrived!!!!
My Ralf Aust - Solingen 5/8" Black and 3" Red Latigo Strop with D-Rings, have just arrived, not bad as I am in Plymouth UK and they were ordered from Straight Razor Designs on Thursday last week and despatched on Friday. The excitement is overwhelming and I have resisted shaving tonight but when I am fresh from the shower tomorrow it's go for broke time. (that's if i can sleep). I will try and video my first horrific effort for all your amusement and hopefully the soap, sweat, blood and tears will lubricate the razor to the smoothest shave.
Thanks for all you help, advise on the forum and the videos on YouTube, without this support I would never have ordered the razor let alone trying something as ludicrous as running it over my face.
Thanks all!Its a unique time in the Universe that matter created in a sun is able to look up into the nights sky and appreciate how pretty stars are.

Take your time and have fun!
It is not as traumatic as people want to think.
Remember light pressure but be confident in your strokes,
you do not need to get all the stubble on your first pass.
Don't feel pressure to do your whole face.
Relax and enjoy, looking forward to the updateIt is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!
