Thread: Ward Geller & Hasner? Pics!!

Can someone give me some info on this razor? I got it off ebay and I have cleaned it up a bit, honed and stropped it, and did some shaving with it. Its great. Just was wondering where it came from. I know its not a big name or expensive one and im cool with that, i got it less than 20 bucks.

By the looks of the stamp it is made for a hardware store. It was super common and some of them are a little more know than others. There is no way of knowing who made the razor. Kind of like buying Kenmore appliances, except 100 years later. Oddly enough many of them were made by top quality makers, most of them from Germany. It is one of those funny things, name brand in a plain wrapper for peanuts. Happy shaves.
