Thanked: 12What type of razors did you order online? If they are of good quality it might be worth it to send them out for honing and see if that changes things. They might just need a good sharpening, OR they may be a rso (razor shaped object) and you might just have to throw them out Hopefully it's the prior and not the latter and you can be shaving soon!
The invisible edge is one website I know of in the UK that carries razors. Not sure about others. Try searching around on SRP I'm sure you'll find other threads mentioning shops out there

Thanked: 49Check out this thread. Also check member classifieds there are some cheap shave ready razors right now but I bet they won't last long.

Thanked: 0thanks for the replys the ones I have I thin k are sub standard or rso as I got the first one from hong kong wich I now no was silly in the first place but also have one that takes disposable blades which works better but just doesn't feel right to use and for honing them I have a 3000 grit ceramic stone and a very cheap strop

The one with replaceable blades is probably what you want to use at this point. Do not hone these, the blades are sharpened at the factory far better than you can do.
If you want a real straight razor experience you would need to get a quality straight razor and a quality strop. Often restored vintage razors can be a fair bit less expensive than new ones. It will have to be honed by somebody who is good at it because you do not have adequate hone or the experience.
