Thread: Illinois Razor Co Strop 827

Hey guys...I recently purchased a Dovo best quality kit off of Royal Shave. I completed my first shave this morning successfully thanks to many of the posts here. I've also read many posts about the Illinois 827 that came in the kit. I'm confused if both sides of the leather are used to strop since one side is smooth leather and the other has ridges. The linen Strop is fine as both sides look the same. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just use the front side of the leather,
linen side you can paste the back if you choose.
Great strop IMO,
mine still hangs ready for use and get used.

Thanks...that's what I thought but hey, you never know. I'll update once I strop to tell the results.
