Thanked: 0I thought about getting these two things first
DOVO Extra Hollow Ground "Singing" Razor, 5/8
http://www.classicshaving.com/catalo...940/873572.htm
DOVO's Best Russian Leather Strop
http://www.classicshaving.com/catalo...944/196032.htm
and then the Norton 4000/8000 or the Belgian Yellow Coticule Stone + Belgian Blue Stone
Is it a good start kit? will it last for years to come?
and sure I will add up Lynn DVD and buy it pre-sharped ready

Tony's strops are probably the most highly treasured as far as this site goes. You can't go wrong with his strops.
