I have the same problem witht he left side as I'm right handed , so I have practiced using the razor held in a'pen grip' with the handle resting in my palm - you really have to concentrate in making sure you don't 'slice' with it but it creates a good result.

Paul - I am doubly glad things worked out for you - I always like to read that new shavers do fine, and this time I had sold you your first razor.

After your first post I was worried that it might have somehow been dulled in transit / customs, etc.
