I have 41 razors as of today...

But I use about a dozen of them for like 90% of my shaves.

I use one Razor for a few weeks/months then move on to another. I don't even really know how many Razors I have between the "Old Honing Technique" Pile, the "Current Honing Technique" Pile, the "Not Even Sure Where To Start" Pile, the "Definitely A Keeper" Pile, the "Prep And Flip" Pile or the smallest "How The Heck Do You Hone Something Like THAT?" Pile.

I have purchased all my Razors either through the Classifieds here or eBay or a couple lucky scores either Craigslist or Word Of Mouth... Never owned a New SR yet.

My Current SR I got back from Glen/GSSixgun and I've been using it for quite a few months... Mostly because we are Re-Modeling my Bathroom and all my stuff is in boxes everywhere... But, also because it is just an awesome Razor in CF with a chartreuse spacer and added Center Pin... I gave it the name 'Tron' as it just has that type look to it and is an awesome SR all around. I looked for pics but don't remember where/if I stored them. ??

One unintentional benefit from having a long line of SR's is I can go back and see where my Honing 'was' when I first started as well as the first few Resto's that I did... Kinda cool being able to look at a SR that still closes off-center as that was prior to me knowing how to adjust that and then seeing how far I've come. Not sure I'll every change that first Razor Restoration as it is a neat benchmark that has been met and beat long ago but still represents where I came from!

I used to own a lot of razors. Now I just have a few that I can fit in a small container.

I must have the RAD antibodies -- I only have 4 razors, use three of them. I just plain don't like the 4/8, but it does a pretty good touch up on the chin when needed.

I'm limiting myself to 21 razors for routine use. I tried 14 but couldn't abide it. I also have an additional stowage of razors separate from my 21 that must be older than ~200 years to qualify for this special grouping. But I shave with all of these too.

    I follow a complicated algorithm...

Lately only 2. I'm on the lookout for another good 7/8 straight.

Two straights and one DE for me. More as finances allow in the future.
