Thanked: 0Shaving Handles
Hey guys, I bought a Wade and Butcher off of ebay and found out that the handle, made of celluloid, was glued together beforehand and when I dropped it on the carpet the handle came apart. Can anyone suggest a sturdier handle material and which razors offer them? Has anyone had experience with the feather razors? The handles on those look thick . Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Razor scales have been made from wood of all kinds, bone and ivory, plastics, metal ... just about anything you can dream up really. Lots of guys work to restore razors. Post your inquiry in the Straight Razor Restoration forum for advice to help you restore it yourself, or find someone who can do it for you.
