Thanked: 0Hello everyone,
I have decided to go with whipped dog unseen razor. After reading lots of good reviews I couldn't pass up how cheap it is to get started with an unseen razor and a poor man strop kit.
My lovely wife said she would by me a nice razor off of SRD or Classic edge for Christmas or Birthday this winter.
Thanks again for all the help.

Sounds like you are getting off on the right foot. Now go watch lots of stroping and shaving videos. Lynn and gssixguns have some very good ones and read the beginner section.

Thanked: 1Stropping is a very important thing I have found and I don't think I have watched more videos of anything then on stropping. Good luck, this has been a great adventure for me so far and I wish you the best.

Thanked: 0On the weekend i am going to spend some time going through videos. Should be fun. I don't know anybody that is interested in wet shaving or using a straight razor so I feel like I'm going my own way.
Thanks saxxon
