    Thumbs up Running before walking

So, I had my first SR-shave on tuesday afternoon, after birnando set up two of my old vintages, but I took it easy with just the cheeks. It was easy peasy, but still very smooth.

Today my thoughts were "why the heck not!" (uhh oh!), and went on a two-pass of my entire face (except my goatee), even my high-risk, low-reward neck.

Result. DFS, not a single cut, nick and no sting from my alumn!

So, plenty to improve on blade angle, stropping etc, but at least I dont have to finish with my DE anymore

    Wow, you move quickly!
Sounds like a stellar result, and I'm sure your DE experience helped out a lot.
What with all the prep and understanding of growth pattern and all.

    Well done!

Yep, congrats you some quick progress! The alum block can be very revealing, so if you aren't stinging with that you are doing well indeed!
