    Default Just Ordered First Straight....

    First of all, a friendly hello to all in this forum, as this is my first post. The information i've gathered here has been invaluable to my venture into straights.
    I just placed my order today for a TI Sunburst 5/8" from classicshaving, and a nice strop from wellshavedgentleman. I locally bought a badger hair brush and some nice sandalwood soap, aftershave, and 'Eau de Toilette' (funny, I always feel civilized saying that!).
    I'm also having the razor pre-sharpened by Mr Abrams, and picked up his Video so I can claw my way through my first shave.
    Hopefully I will emerge unscathed...but either way no mail delivery system will get it here quick enough for me! I'll update on my first experience in a couple of weeks.
