I'm a righty but find my left hand has a lighter touch but less control.

Yep shave better as well as shoot better with my non dominant hand. I have learned that we tend to focus and concentrait on the basics when using the non dominant hand.

That is very unusual. I used to be involved in law Enforcement Firearms Training and I don't think I had ever seen someone who shoots better with their non dominant hand. Some southpaws come close but take a typical right hander and have them fire a pistol at 25 yards with their non dominant hand and most can't hit the broadside of a barn.
