It's here!!!
My package came in the mail today
A thing of beauty it is... Looking forward to meeting some Pacific Northwest (or southwest if you look at it from my perspective) wet shavers on Saturday, gssixguns graciously offered to hone it up for me, and my strop cleared customs yesterday, so quite possible be shaving my face with this thing on Sunday. Where did you purchase from? Can you please update us after trying it out? I've been wanting my first "new" straight razor and I really want the bismark. Beautiful raxor and congrats on getting gssixgun to hone it!

I got from Fendrihan.com. I will certainly let y'all know when I run it across my face for the first time. I kinda sorta tested it on my dry face last night (just a couple hairs) and it tugged and pulled a fair bit. Not that this is a good comparison, given improper beard prep, but I couldn't wait. Lol. It DID sing though... Wouldn't pass the HHT either. I suspect after tomorrow, it'll be whole different story.

Well, I swiped that beautiful piece of steel across my face today. Not the closest shave I've ever had, but damn smooth. Met up with Pacific Northwesters at SRP yesterday in Seattle, and had a blast. Gssixguns honed up my razor, walked us through what he was doing and what he was looking for. I also won a BEAUTY 3" english bridle strop from SRD in the raffle. Anyways, I think I'm hooked. Good to be here guys, wishing y'all a close shave, cheers.
