Thanked: 2They have arrived!
Hello Gents!
After a couple of weeks of anticipation, they have arrived. I can't wait to shave with one of them tomorrow. The top is a 5/8 J.A. Henckels #76 and the bottom is a 9/16 Peaso #25. In addition to them arriving I also received my Straight Razor Designs paddle strop and some lime Castle Forbes today, not to mention my bottles of Thayer's witch hazel that came yesterday. Overall the past month has been busy for the mail lady at my houseI'm so excited to get up tomorrow and shave!

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Great looking razors that should shave as well as they look. Enjoy.

Thanked: 2I pulled them both out of the stable this morning for the first shave. While I only focused on the side burn/side of face areas to gain confidence; I didn't draw blood, but both tugged/pulled more then I expected. I guess there are various opinions of "shave ready." I decided not to push it and figured that I would strop them before the next use. I decided not to strop them prior to using them due to reading a lot of info about not to strop first with a "shave ready" razor. Though their was some disappointment, overall it went well and I am still stoked about them.
