Default Shaving the mustache with a bigger blade?

    Hello all,

I'm a beginner and I'm having trouble shaving my mustache with the blades I own, One is a 6/8 Filarmonica and the other is a 7/8 Palmera. Just wondering if those of you with larger blades stroke upwards against the grain on the mustache to get it, or somehow stroke downwards with the grain by pulling your nose up? I'm having trouble maintaining a good shave angle while trying to shave with the grain under my nose. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

I find no difference regardless of blade size. The more experience the easier it will be.

As uncomfortable as it sounds, I push my nose 'out of the way' with my off hand and gradually bring the razor down to the correct angle with extremely light pressure - that's WTG, the XTG and ATG apsses will be OK.
    Hope this helps
Hang on and enjoy the ride...
