    Ok your choice . Pick one.
    To be honest I have no idea of the differences. Since you said you could hone the CMON, i would choose that. Other than that i would have no opinions on any of them as i am quite a noob with straight razors. Again thank you.

    @Grazor
    Thanks for the info

    Let me head to my hones will go out in the morning. I am adding the orange Imperial also, we rest our razors for a day before we shave with them again. Ask when they get there. We will explain it when its time to cross that bridge. Enjoy, you will be good at this , it takes time ,practice, and patience. Chins take a little longer for some of us to master.

    Thank you so much. It is quite overwhelming. I am not use to such generous people.

    The fact is, we all know the true joy of using straights and are more than happy to share what we know and have. Welcome to SRP :<0)

    Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

    C-MON is a good choice. Have 4 of them, various grinds. All good, good shavers.

    And kudos to ultrasoundguy for also stepping up. I have been both the recipient and giver of razors and laud all those that PIF and keep this as THE top shaving forum on the web.

    And now lets stop patting ourselves on the back and get busy restoring, honing and using those beauties we spend too much time admiring.

    The gentlemen of this forum are top notch as you have seen! Let us know how you progress, just take it slow and don't rush. It could be a few weeks/months before you feel comfortable with your technique and see and feel the results.

    Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

    will do, thanks.

    I am eager to see the difference in these razors compared to the Gold Dollar to see what makes a good straight razor. I am also interested in seeing what you guys consider good honing to compare and contrast how i honed the Gold Dollar.

    Im quite excited to shave with these razors to witness the difference between these and the gold dollar.

    The gold I sent was just recently honed so stropping is all that is necessary. And the shavette obviously needs nothing. I would suggest the Winsdor blades over the sharks.
