Yes, you can buy Lynn's dvd off of here or from SRD. The main thing to remember using a Dremel is to make sure the tool is always turning away from the blade when using it perpendicular to the blade. You can go along the blade & when you get to the toe, you want it to spin away from that too. Once you get some experience using one, it isn't so bad. You just have to be very careful. If you accidentally let the tool turn against the edge, you can chip or break the blade, especially on a hollow ground. Lynn's dvd shows how to hone, strop, shave, his collection, restoration & using a Dremel the proper way but I hope you have some junk blades to practice with. I use the little buffing pads that are about 1/2" in diameter & about 7/16" wide. Just be careful if you use one. You can also hurt yourself if using it wrong!

Hi and welcome. If using a dremel or anything motorized make sure that you use low speed and make sure not to heat the blade as you can ruin it. If using a dremel use a light touch and wear ppe. It is VERY easy to chip off a bit if the blade. Good luck with your restores

Could you possibly post some pictures of the Boker Imperial before you polished it? I will probably polish with my Dremel, but I'm not close to polishing on any of my junkers. When you say you polished with a dremel that could not be polished by hand, what did you use to polish? These are the kinds of questions I have... The very basics. Thanks for your reply!
