I believe the DX is stainless and the SS and RG are plated brass.

The Shavette forum is very helpful and there is some great info.
I find the DX folding shank and balance to be close to that of a "regular" 6/8 straight.

For low maintenance - and travel they are hard to beat.
There are lots of choices and price points.
And blades? Not as many choices as DE - but there are choices and it's very YMMV.
