Congrats! It definitely feels good to be able to be responsible for this by yourself.

Like so many others I can totally relate to that sense of achievement. I tried for a long time to get decent edges before I finally got a Norton set. That "I get it moment" that comes with the Norton is amazing!

    Congrats on getting it

Monkeypuzzlebeefeater I'm not sure if I "got it" or stumbled on it. But I'll keep my nose to the grind stone and keep at it.

Congrats millbilly. You have made a milestone in your learning. Continue doing what works for you and you are comfortable with. Mastering the Norton, before moving on, is the key to success in honing.

Oh boy I never thought of that! I told the wife that I'm going to start looking at a finisher in the range of 12000 grit. So I may be infected with HAD already.
