    Default bought this Torrey

    and because I don't know much yet about straights.... was wondering how I did?

    scales are from a Boker.

    Can't really see if the razor blade is Torrey, but it looks quite worn. Seems you can't hone yet - this might be a good one for practice. A honemeister should be able to get it shave-ready and it should give you years of service despite the hone wear.

    It also looks like a smaller blade, maybe a 4/8. (That's the width, measured in 1/8ths of an inch. Generally a 5/8 is "standard.") But that doesn't mean it won't shave just as well; it'll just be different.

    There's some define hone wear, but like Ivo said, that blade has decades of life in it.
