Thread: Things are coming together

Well I got a badger brush, handmade soaps (some here as well), and just won a bid on a DD Dwarf I already have stones from my Kitchen knives (I'm a line cook) 4k, 6k, 8k, looking at a 12k shapton pro. Now all I need a is a strop and some paste to get me in gear.

One idea I had was collecting 7 DD Dwarfs as a 7 day set. Another crazy idea I'm sure, but I have seen a number of differences in DD Dwarfs in my searches, so I figure it would be a cool set I could keep busy with. Still in talks with a couple members here for DD Dwarfs so this could work.

Still have to research DD's in general but hve not had much success. Must be looking in the wrong areas.

Well things are piling up on my sink and I'm getting weird looks from my wife

I now have 2 DD Dwarf's inbound, one has a stop over at Bill Ellis's shop for a new dress I'm looking forward to that one as it will be what I judge the rest of my work on.

I seem to be going backwards on this, got the razors comming, brush, soap, but no strop... DOH!! Can't do anything till I get that I picked up a cheapy blade on ebite to practice honeing with. It will take a bit of work to get cleaned up but I'm looking forward to it. May get that restoration dvd as well

Got the first of 3 DD's comming in. A basic DD Dwarf in good shape. The second DD Dwarf is on it's way to Billy's for re-scaling and honing, this should be a good one .

I'm looking for a 7 day box for the 7 Dwarf's, should be fun
