    Default Recommended Straight Razor Books

Are there any books on straight razors in general (shaving, care, honing, etc) or on vintage razors to help with purchasing vintage razors and knowing what to look for?

    Thanks

Welcome to SRP apipeguy. Visit the Library Tab on the home page. Lots of good information to get you started.

I've spent a great deal of time in the library so far, will spend a lot more there too. Just curious about any books, if they exist and are worthwhile.

You may find more using the search box on the upper right corner of SRP.

I have no pertinent information on books; but offer instead a warning.

Upon reading this thread title, I knew the op already has RAD, or will have it full-blown well before he finishes his first book on razor subjects.

Good luck. And despite their claims, the fellers here are enablers and will NOT help you quell your enthusiasm.

Yes, I have found that it strikes very quickly, the incubation period is very short and within one week you are totally infected, with no hope for a cure.

Some of the fellas here hide in the guise of generous helping individuals who share their knowledge and enthusiasm, while really just sucking you in deeper and deeper.
