Thanked: 0Fist time with the feather blades............
Tried the feather blades for the first time. Probably the best shave I have ever had. No cuts , no nicks, no runs and no errors. The sharpness of these blades is for sure, not open to debate. One thing: The blades were independently wrapped , which is a pain in the arse. Almost cut myself just trying to get that damn sticky paper off!:s

Oh I love em! Tried a sampler pack once full of like 10 different brands. They were the winner and all I use now.

Thanked: 0I probably will try others, just for the heck of it, but these really work well. These things are probably the sharpest thing I have ever handled. You can actually feel how sharp they are as you pull the razor across your face. They just WANT to slice. If only I could get my hunting knives this sharp..lol

I agree that the stickiness of the paper is irritating, but, I have 8 or 10 brand of blades and they all are wrapped in paper, many sticky....which ones aren't wrapped?

I think nowadays all DE blades are wrapped. AFAIK. In bygone days, when Gillette had the blade dispensers, they weren't wrapped, were very convenient, and a lot safer.
The Feather is a great blade. Many guys like them even better the second and third shave. They get a bit gentler as they are used.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3226Feather blades do come in dispensers containing 5 or 10 blades but each blade is still individually wrapped. Seems a little redundant but might be a current safety requirement when shipping, as a guess.

Thanked: 0All the other blades I bought come in a sleeve of sorts.............much easier, and safer than unwrapping a sticky piece of paper from a unholy sharp blade...............
