    Cool Had a good shave today!!

    Best straight shave to date. Still had to do some minimal clean up with the DE around the lip and chin. Dovo Best Quality 6/8, Proraso Green soap, Thayers Lavender alcohol free witch hazel, finished with Nivea for men cooling post shave balm for sensitive skin.

    Congrats on the great shave. Cleaning up with the DE is the way to go. Heck, even after a few years of straight razor shaving, I still go back to my DE every now and then for a full DE shave. Both are still the cadillacs of the shaving world.

    If I ever want a true 100% BBS shave I will shave with SR and clean up with DE, there are areas of the neck where the hair grows sideways and I simply cannot (physically) shave ATG with a SR and ONLY a DE can cut ATG.
