Thanked: 52Jackjone:
Welcome to SRP, lots of great advise here in the wiki - past threads, read, learn and then ask questions we would love to help you get the most out of your shaving experience.
If you find that the edge on that razor is not up to snuff I would be happy to hone it for you, the only cost would be postage.
All the very best FrankC

Welcome to SRP Jack. There is plenty of help here via browsing and asking the folks. Here, we all strive for the perfect shave, so those that can help, pass their knowledge down, so we may help the lost as well.
Enjoy the site. I to am still muddling around looking for answers.

Make sure this so called honer shaves with straights or most likely he's just a knife sharpener, the two are not the same ,, look for a reputable person who does this for you ,, a pro honing is only as far as your mailbox and if it's right you will have a better chance at learning this hobby. Tc

Hi and welcome. Try checking the library for local help. There might be a member close to you who you can meet with and can hone your razor and show you the basics. Good luck.

I happen to like AoS products but, since it is a fact their people wouldn't know a shave ready razor from a cheeseburger, I would not rely on their advice for a honer of what is almost certainly a fine razor. Please see SRP classifieds!
