Thread: Filarmonica doble temple #14 Jose’ Monserrat Pou

About 25 years ago I wanted to try straight razor shaving and bout this razor, didn't buy a strop or stone. Used it for about a month to learn, cut my face up good but got the hang of it by the time it got dull.

I put it away and haven't used it since. I started using a safety razor about 4 years ago and love it. A few months ago I got the bug to buy a new straight razor and strop and stone. Well while doing the internet search thing since. My wife found my Filamonica. Its in pretty good shape no gouges or chips, just dull.

I just ordered the 4000/8000 wet stone and a Illinois 827 strop.

Can anyone tell me about this razor. from what I see it must have been NOS when I bought it.
