    Talking Finally, some luck

After having a shave with a Lynn Honed razor, I have become determined to one day hone like him. It is the only honing that caused a razor to glide through my brillo pad of hair on my chin...until now.
I've only been honing for a week, so I know that it's not skill that got me this, but beginner's luck.
I was honing two of the polish razors (bad boys still pull a bit) and two razors that I got on ebay.
The AIC still is pulling on my upper lip (toughest hairs this side of the pacific), but glides on the side burns and cuts through my chin (hairs). The Genco...oh my the genco, you have earned your place in "the box"... It was so close to shave ready when I got it, all it took was 5 laps on the 8k and 10 on .5 micron. She cut whiskers like butter.

and to think that I offered it up for trade a few days ago (glad it wasn't picked)
Now if I could just get that luck to hold while I get the technique down.

Well there are always exceptions. If for "all" you read "virtually all that are in good shape" then yes really. Search the archives for posts by lynn containing the word genco or geneva.
