3 weeks straight shave wow
There's an old saying who goes like this great effort will paid of whit time, true enough. After the issues i had whit my straight all the good advices i received 3 weeks later it paid of quite well. Since that day i only got great shaves whit my straight razors, i can made my 3 pass shave whitout irritation, major nicks or cuts and most important no razor burn. I dont get bbs shave and i'm not looking for that, for me right now is the quality of the shave and of course good comfortable shave. Really proud that i was able to do it but whit out the help of you guy's it wouldn't be possible. Thank's again for the help the generosity and to share all your knowlege to me it was really appreciate. Someday when i will be more experienced it will be my turn to help somebody who needs it and i will do it gratefully. It's good to received but way better to give. Gino

Thanked: 190Right on Gino. You are doing well. If I can remember correctly, I hit that Nirvana shave at my 40th plus shave and these days, if is not a BBS shave, then I am not satisfied.
Cheers!

The quality of my straight shaves are better, the only trouble that i got is i used to much pressure. But since i'm on my learning process it's something i correct, i got once in a while a bit of irritation. I guest it's a newbies mistake, but like the old saying say's a mistake admited is a mistake almost repairez. After i'll be comfortable enough i'll tried to get a bbs shave but for now i want to take my time and learned the right way. Now i'm at the piont that i straight shave before i get to work, i woke up 1/2 hour earler just to make sure to do it right and to not rush myself. Thank's again to all the supports of you guy's. Gino

Thanked: 1184The going light seems to be opposite of what most men think naturally. More power, more force, more more more, is always better. EXCEPT when shaving :<0) Your getting it and that's great. Make good habits to begin with and try to keep it going. One day you will realize you haven't made any mistakes in a long time but won't remember how long it's been. You will still enjoy it as much :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

One of the things I like is that there are so many aspects to straight shaving such as shaving, restoring, garage sale hunting, honing, collecting, ect that I never get bored with it and there is always something new to learn.
Congrats on some great shaves! What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
