    Default Bitten

Had a fairly decent shave this morning. Not my best but not my worst either. Important thing no oops!
i picked up a cheap Chinese razor to start with till I could decide if I really wanted to get back in the water.
After visiting with a couple of really nice guys on the board here plus I managed to pick up a " Wade and Butcher" on a bike trip this past weekend - got my attention.

One of the group here has offered to put a new edge on it for me and there it is.

I'm hooked. Just something about shaving with a hundred year old razor. It's even older than me.

Guess I'll be in the market for hones next.

It seems very easy to get "bitten". I'm just in my third month and look forward to shaving every day now. I've also started honing and very much enjoy that also. Something very special about shaving with an edge that you created yourself.

    Welcome and enjoy.

SAD, HAD, RAD, ?AD. Now which one to start with? Problem is you always tell yourself that it is the last one your getting or you just need one more to complete the collection. And then $300+ stones start looking like a good deal. Be careful you will always want more. Now where did I find that jnat that I was looking to buy?

Your done for now. 5 moths ago I had my 1st experiance with a straight razor, at my new barber (Mastercuts chain before).
Now I'm 9 razors in from 5 differnt countries, and probibly well over $1k in.
