If your heart is set on a new razor. Don't leave the offerings from Ralph Aust off your list. They offer beautiful razor and scale combinations.

From your list of choices, I'd go with the Boker. I have one and like it. Forgetting that and your desire to try it in hand first, I'd go to the classifieds here. There are usually some good choices and you won't get ripped off my a member who lists razors here.

Boker, Boker, Boker! I am biased though. I love them. Even if you don't get on with it, I can guarantee that if you advertised it for sale on here it would sell pretty quickly. Good luck.

Sounds like good logic and your choices are all good, solid razors. Lots of good reviews on all especially the Bokers! Good luck in your quest!

I like to try blades from different companies, and since you already have a Dovo, I'd recommend the Boker first and the TI second.

I also think you will be happy with any of the four.

Thank you all for you input on this.

Do the boker come "shave teady" from factory?

Yes. You're right. I didn't think of the fact that you can't have the razor in hand.

I agree on trying new brands is the way to go. I am leaning towards the boker because it is an extra full hollow and I am leaning towards the TI because it is a 5/8 (so far I have a 6/8) and I can get it for 70 us$ less than the boker.
