I live near the beach in a subtropical climate where the RH is mostly above 60% year round - >80% in particularly wet periods. I store my razors in a bathroom drawer inside a Plano tackle box without dessicants and I've never had an issue with corrosion. Mind you, I keep them well oiled with IKEA Skyd - a plain mineral oil.

Thanked: 3this appears to be working well. Humidity in the bathroom after a shower can exceed 80 fairly easily but the humidity in the box never seems to exceed 60. I added more dissonants and it now seems to stay around 55. That's low enough that rust should never be a problem, particularly with camellia oil on the blades.

I usually keep mine in my closet outside of the bathroom. That way there is not an issue with humidity. So Far, So Good...

Thanked: 0I'm new. Should I keep disposable straight razors bone dry or can it be on the counter?

As a rule bathrooms, moisture and razors dont go in the same sentence.
But disposable straight razors are a double negative for the majority of the group.
