Thanked: 26My first SRP Calssifieds purchase
My second straight razor. From Wolfpack34 (Thanks Mike).
A Geo Wostenholm & Son circa 1850-1890 Extra Hollow Ground Sheffield steel blade with original scales repined. Something really cool about shaving with a razor that may have been around when Abraham Lincoln was president. It shaves incredibly well!

Thanked: 634Beautiful razor. If you want one from the time of Lincoln get a Gilchrist 1855-1865. As a side note
Lincoln was carrying a Gilchrist pocket knife when assinated.

Wolfpack does superb work on his razors.
So good, he got a old Wade and Butcher guy like me to buy an American razor he had in the Classifieds, great price, superb condition, and a fantastic edge....congrats!

Thanked: 1184I get to see all these razors Mike restores from start to finish and I can say there is no room for improvement. If it can be fixed and made to look perfect (original) he does it. It's something he is passionate about and it shows in every razor he works on.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
