Thanked: 5I only have three razors at this moment but I just pick one that hits my fancy in the moment. Just ordered 3 more waiting for them to be made! I love choices.

I don't have a big collection myself , I have 14 razors, now with most being customs , I just keep what I like to shave with. Not into collecting, or restoring, now as for travel I only need one, my Feather RG folder with a pack of blades. Tc

Thanked: 12I have three, and randomly select one. The only deviation is, from time to time, a razor just doesn't feel right when I start a shave. When this happens, I put it down and select another, or finish with one of the DE. Better to make a change than chop your face up. Generally, the next time I use that razor, everything is fine and it produces a great shave.

I am pretty new to SR shaving, and going through a bit of RAD right now. I generally only need to shave every other day. I currently have four shave ready razors, and two more on the way. I had a pretty big collection of DE razors as well. I typically just grab which ever one looks right when I getting ready to shave. Sometimes, if I am having trouble with some part of my shave, I will stick with one particular one for a few weeks or a month or until I figure it out.
I enjoy my shaves, and don't worry about strict rotations.

I have a 2 part answer to this one:
When I am away for work (2 out of 3 weeks) I shave almost every day with one straight, occasionally using a safety razor. I only keep one razor at work.
On my week at home I shave 3-5 times and either use one of my two other straights or (rarely) a safety razor, shavette or (aalmost never) my schick quattro (until the cartridges I have run out). I try to use the same straight for the whole week at home and change them from break to break as the mood takes me.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Use one until it needs to hit the hone.
Switch the next until it needs honing.
I do this working my way through my collection.
My collection of fifteen isn't about quantity, but what I persve as quality.
If I don't like a shave a razor gives it goes bye bye, unless it's worth something or rare. It's a dog eat dog world and I have on milk bone underwear.

I pick whichever razor suits me at that moment, same with soap, brush, and aftershave, one of the main attractions for me is change and choice....
