I received my strop today and have to say Glen does very nice work. I'm very pleased. Thanks to all involved.

Wow. I used the razor for the first time last night. What a shave - my first ATG and smoother then anything I ever felt in my life. I am impressed.

Thanks again - I now have a benchmark by which to assess my own efforts.

My razor came in a few days ago, and I've had a chance to shave with it twice. I'm happy to report that it shaves like a dream, about 95% of what I can get with my best DE shave, and I'm sure that's just the limitation of my technique right now. That you so much!

If any veterans are still passing by this post, I'm interested in starting to shave with a straight and would be willing to purchase any shave ready razors/strops you might have outgrown! This looks like a great community, and I can't really believe this kind of generosity comes from an internet site. Where are the flames??

As for the flames... You are a bit o/t here I haven't had any time to fix up any razors these days (work and my bike took up too much of it lately) but JoshEarl puts out many cheap shave-ready pieces for sale, so just wait for his ads.
