My neck was the last area I had real issues with, and keeping the skin stretched like Jimbo suggested was the ticket for me.

My neck has been the worst area to get right as due to the hollows and available space I can't get a razor to go in the direction I want. The only thing I have found is a dry (probably better described as moist as not completely dry but no lather or water ) as a touch up to the problem areas. I do this very lightly and with a good stretch. It is actually exactly to same as the last pass just dry. For some reason while wet it won't get it but dry leaves bbs. This isn't something I would reccomend a beginner do but you have a bit of experience and is something else that may work for you but YMMV
My wife calls me.........Can you just use Ed

Thanked: 96My neck problem is shaving below the corner of my jaw on my neck. The contour of my neck and angle the hair grows makes it very difficult to shave. Tried stretching and shaving at a diagonal but so far can't get it smooth

I find ins that for the hollows of my neck, I use the opposite hand (right hand for left side) and place the heel of the blade into to hollow of my neck at the jawline under the ear. Then I bring the blade down on an angle toward the bottom center at the base of my neck. Placing the heel into th hollow not only gets into the depression but it also keeps the toe from poking the Adam's apple.

Still, OCD is great for pilots, surgeons and nuclear power plant operators but maybe not so much for every neck shaver.Last edited by MisterMoo; 07-02-2015 at 11:02 PM.

Happy Birthday! I think it's best if I just struck with two passes on the neck. My whiskers are as coarse as lead so going across the neck, which is against the grain is really hard. I have to chop at the hairs so I will nick myself if I get picky. I'll just continue that direction with my DE on that one pass on the neck.
