    If I order a naniwa 12000 stone, do I need to get a flattening stone with it?

    I originally went with the Naniwa Flattening stone, and regretted it.

    Get the Diamond Lapping plate, it lasts forever, has multiple uses, and will absolutely keep your stones true and flat.
