They may sell TI straights.....but IMHO....out-of-the-box...I may as well be shaving with a P-38 (WWII mess kit can opener)!!
I'm fortunate to have a pro honemeister close by (a 2-hour drive via Interstate)..Once a true pro has performed his/her magic on your blade, you'll know why it's "worth the trip"!!

I too would suggest a pro honing. If the edge is getting better with that much paste usage it must have been in poor condition to start with. Pastes are usually used maybe every week or two to just bring the edge back. From memory the ti paste is aluminum or diamond but both would be fairly aggressive and wouldn't need much. You will also need to wipe the blade down after using pastes so as not to contaminate your normal strop. Send it out I'm sure you will be surprised at how much better it can be
