Thanked: 0Who hones for hire on here?
So I'm pretty new to this SR shaving. I'm getting the hang of it and have been shaving everyday for about 2 weeks.
Who is "the guy" to send razors to for a good hone. I sent my Dovo BQ to classic shaving on the other side of the country last time, but I believe there must be a better option. I am shopping around for a 2nd so that when one is out I can use the other. I'm on the east coast if that matters.

Check in the classifieds/members service. There is usually a list of people that will hone a razor.

Thanked: 1184You may also want to look for a neighbor close by. You can learn more in a couple of hours face time and get to see some things in your hand that won't come across the same in pictures and descriptions.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Yep, old Hirlau keeps his trunk loaded with all his hones in order to jet off at a moment's notice!

Welcome to SRP! Lots of great folks in the classifieds. I wouldn't worry to much about how far they are. That's the post mans problem.
