Thread: Went all in this evening!

So I had a full beard, shaved it into a goat and then began using the straight razor. I have shaving around my goat and it was okay but decided I wanted to shave my whole face. So I decided to go all in and shave my whole face. Took a long time because I went very slow. Well a lot of lather and passes later I now have a bare face and not too much blood lol. Had some trouble under my nose and chin, so I didn't get a great shave. I may have to take your advice guys and get my razor professionally honed. My razor is not a high end model but it is handmade in Germany so I think it would be worth it. Can anyone give me idea of how much it would be and an idea of timeline on turnaround?

Some of the honers in the classifieds give estimated turn around time in their ads. It's worth looking through the ads. You might consider looking for a honer in your region.

Try find someone local. Can probably help you with honing and some shaving and stropping skills. Good luck
