Pinaud lilac vegetal is an aftershave that some people love and some people hate. It smells better if you take it out of the plastic bottle and put it into a glass one and let it breathe. I like it, but my wife says that it reminds her of the smell of a public restroom sanitizer (urinal cake).

I'm in the don't like it group. IMHO, nauseating!! I finally threw it in the trash.

    Of course, that's just IMO!!

It was comments like those from SirStropalot and criswilson10 that kept me from ever trying it.
Although I'm a Clubman-Man, I have come to realize that there are some things I don't want to learn "the hard way" - like "what does 480volts feel like?"
Or "how does this Lilac Vegital smell?"

But I'm sure there are those that love it, more for them...

I use it regularly....When it first goes on, yes it smells like cat p***, but after ten minutes it has dried down and is quite nice.
In my Pinaud rotation I use it about once a fortnight.
Like all EP, it should be in glass.

I'm trying to come to grips with getting through the 260 minutes a year (26 x 10) in a cloud of "Eau de Fluffy"....

OK, I've moved on now, glad this works for you...

The stuff was originally formulated as a bug killer. Someone started wearing it to ward the bugs off and the rest is history.

    yes that really is true.
