Default My first real straight shave!

Well Ive been converted, About a year ago i said good by to the multi-bladed cartridge razor ( if you really can call it a razor!) and switched to a D/E. Well my experience with the D/E was good far better than those multi-bladed face mowers.
my only problem with D/E's was i my face was smooth after a shave but it wasn't consistent, so yet again i looked for an alternative one that i would really enjoy, so i asked a barber his answer a straight razor. so i looked into it and being a member of badger and blade a couple members pointed me here. So i bought a bunch of razors of ebay thinking they would do the trick, but little did i no you had to clean, hone and strop them. Now none of these are a real problem but as i found out the hard way shaving with a dull straight is hell, so i turned to Lynn and i purchased a Straight from him that was shave ready, well i shaved the other day with it for the first time and i will never shave with anything else again! by far the best decision Ive ever made. as for the straights i bought on ebay there back on ebay for sale minus the dirt and rust ofcourse.

    Glad to hear

By the way, some of these razors you are selling back on e-bay *may* have great potential. Impressive that you cleaned the rust. A good honing now may get you some nice shavers

You might want to ask about them in the Razor group, or maybe even post in the e-bay section with the item #s

    Cheers
    Ivo
